Raymarine’s new advanced eS Series of HybridTouch™ multifunction displays (MFDs) features three high-performance navigation displays offering unprecedented control and ease-of-use in sleek, ergonomic designs.

Powered by Raymarine’s advanced LightHouse II user interface and described as Raymarine’s most advanced MFDs yet, the new eS Series with HybridTouch™ gives skippers the choice of simple touch screen interaction or full control using the sculpted keypad and multifunction rotary controller (ideal in rougher conditions).

Thanks to integrated Wi-Fi and Raymarine mobile apps, the new eS Series MFDs can also be accessed from anywhere on board via a smartphone or tablet.

The eS Series features a choice of 7”, 9” and 12” displays, each with an attractive, glass bridge-style, designed to blend seamlessly into modern helm stations, either as a low profile console or completely recessed and flush mounted.

Owners can also customise their eS Series system with high performance network sensors, including HD Colour radar, professional CHIRP sonar, IP video, and thermal night vision. The versatile eS Series can expand even further with support for multiple displays, Evolution autopilot control, entertainment, engine and a wide range of digital switching integration options.

“With digital switching integration becoming more and more popular, the eS Series makes it easy to integrate virtually every on-board system into the single MFD,” says Mark Milburn of New Zealand Raymarine distributor Lusty and Blundell. “This removes the need for those unsightly arrays of knobs and switches and makes it easy to dramatically de-clutter the helm.

“This is surprisingly affordable on both new vessels and when refurbishing and updating existing ones.”

The eS Series features optional CHIRP DownVision™ technology and industry-leading vector and raster chart support from Navionics, C-MAP by Jeppesen, and Raymarine’s expanding library of LightHouse charts. The eS Series also features a built-in 10Hz GPS/GLONASS receiver for fast position updates and ultra-fast satellite acquisition.

Mark Milburn says owners will also love the responsive HybridTouch interaction and the way the intuitive LightHouse II user interface allows both experienced and new boaties to very quickly and very easily master these very advanced eS Series MFDs.
