Ultraflex’s latest MTC trim tabs come with a new small footprint, low profile joystick that is so intuitive there is no need for any sort of trim indicators.

With traditional trim tabs, skippers need indicators to show the current position of the two tabs before they can make individual adjustments.

In contrast, Ultraflex’s patented new control system features a single, highly intuitive joystick, complete with simple, clear graphics.

“Keeping a trailer boat on a comfortable, even keel has never been so simple,” says Grant Matthews from Ultralflex’s New Zealand distributors, Lusty and Blundell Ltd.

“Want to bring down the port side because the boat is leaning to starboard? Just push the joystick to port until the boat is level.

“It couldn’t be easier.

“There is no need to glance down at hard-to-read indicators; no need to try and work out which switch controls which tab.

“Instead, a single movement quickly and accurately positions both tabs, ensuring the boat is always at the right attitude for the conditions. This means a more comfortable ride for those on board and better fuel economy for the wallet.”

Ideal for both novice and experienced boaties and for both Portofino and traditional transoms, the MTC series comes in a variety of plate sizes, from 9x9” to 12x18”.

The new Ultraflex MTC trim tabs are now available from Lusty and Blundell’s nationwide network of leading marine dealers.
