Maritime Survivor Locator Devices provide local link to rapid rescue
Designed for the professional marine market and its offshore workers, Ocean Signal’s new M100 and M100X MSLDs (Maritime Survivor Locating Devices) automatically transmit an AIS alert and a 121.5 MHz homing signal once activated. The integrated 66 channel GPS ensures a position update is provided every minute to all receivers and AIS enabled plotters in the vicinity.
Able to be fitted to a life jacket or immersion suit, the new MSLDs will automatically activate on inflation of the jacket or on submersion (when fitted to the suit).
Able to transmit for up to 12 hours, the new MSLDs are simple to fit, come with a two-year warranty and theM100X is also designed for use in Zone 2 explosive atmospheres.
The new M100 and M100X Maritime Survivor Locating Devices are now available nationwide through Lusty and Blundell’s network of leading marine dealers.
