Boat Show success sees L&B offer complete Haswing trolling motor system
Following a multitude of inquiries at the recent Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show, Lusty & Blundell have a created a simple one-step solution for those wanting to install a new trolling motor.
“Interest in our popular range of Haswing trolling motors was exceptionally high at the show,” says L&B managing director, Mark Milburn. “Kiwi boaties and fishers really liked the great value-for-money and all the new features: especially the stylish new wireless remote with its total control including Anchor Lock, Heading Lock, Steer Left and Steer Right.
“However, it quickly became clear that they also wanted a complete installation solution, rather than having to source the component parts separately.
“So that is what we’ve done.”
L&B’s new Haswing Trolling Motor Kits come complete with a Haswing trolling motor, a quick release bracket, an AMPS lithium battery and a Victron IP65 smart charger.
“Boaties simply choose what thrust and shaft length they want for the motor, whether they need a 12v or 24v battery and whether it is 60Ah or 100Ah; and we do the rest.”
Suitable for boats up to 6.5m and weighing up to 1850kgs, Haswing Gen 1.6 trolling motors come in shaft lengths up to 72in, work equally well in both salt and fresh water and come with an impressive 24-month warranty.
