Victron’s innovative new AGM Super Cycle Battery features real breakthroughs in recent battery electrochemistry technology.

Thanks to a new type of paste on the battery’s positive plates, which makes them less sensitive to softening, the new AGM Super Cycle Battery can be completely discharged multiple times without damaging the plates and without the need to change the charging system.

Clever new additives in the electrolyte solution greatly reduce sulfation during a deep discharge. They also offer excellent resistance to capacity loss due to sulphation during a Partial State of Charge.

New AGM Super Cycle batteries have very impressive cycle counts, too, with greater than 300 cycles at 100% Depth of Discharge (ie: total discharge); more than 700 cycles at 60% DoD and over 1000 cycles at 40% DoD!

Victron’s new AGM Super Cycle batteries are also smaller and lighter than comparable batteries and have a lower internal resistance.
