BEYOND 3D: Raymarine’s stunning new RealVision MAX CHIRP
Raymarine’s new RVM1600 is a powerful all-in-one remotely-mounted module that takes recreational sonar technology a significant step beyond traditional 3D. Featuring embedded new RealVision MAX CHIRP sonar technology and compatible with the entire Axiom range of multifunction displays, RVM1600 delivers stunning underwater clarity and truly impressive fish imaging.
With substantially upgraded DownVision, SideVision, 3D, and conventional CHIRP sonar, thanks to new and improved RealVision MAX CHIRP sonar transducers, the new RealVision MAX takes multi-channel CHIRP sonar performance to a completely new level.
In addition to the new high-performance RealVision CHIRP transducers, upgraded with larger elements and increased power output for extended-range performance, RealVision MAX also features greatly improved signal processing, faster ping rates and new high-contrast colour palettes. The result is underwater structures that are instantly more recognisable and normally elusive fish that are far quicker and easier to identify. RealVision 3D also ensures accurate target location and helps pinpoint that elusive wreck or setup the perfect drift.
Ideal for both serious anglers and casual recreational fishers, RealVision MAX boasts a full suite of six channels in simultaneous operation: Raymarine High CHIRP, DownVision, SideVision, RealVision 3D and Dual-Channel 1kW CHIRP.
In addition, the significantly more powerful 600-watt traditional CHIRP frequency of RealVision MAX’s transducers provides a deeper sonar range, reducing the need for additional transducers. There is also in-built support for 1kW Airmar CHIRP transducers, enabling anglers to successfully fish in waters up to 900m!
The perfect sonar solution for Raymarine’s popular family of Axiom displays, the RMV1600 RealVision MAX remotely-mounted sonar module, which will be on display at the Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat in Auckland in May, is now available through Lusty and Blundell’s nationwide network of leading marine dealers and at their three showrooms in Albany, Whangarei and Tauranga.
