New Airmar Smart Multisensor transducer ideal for racing & cruising yachts
The new DST820, which replaces the popular DST810, delivers fast, accurate, speed-through-water (STW) measurements, helping sailors fine-tune their sails and rig for maximum performance. Precise STW readings also enable accurate VMG and target-speed calculations, giving performance-minded skippers and tacticians a real performance edge.
The sophisticated new DST820 also offers handy all-in-one depth, speed through water and water temperature readings; integrated heel-and-trim (attitude) data; high-resolution speed output with an improved update rate; simple NMEA 2000 network connectivity and wireless calibration and configuration using the Airmar CAST app.
The DST820 is also compliant with the UK Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure (PSTI) Act, meaning it features a more secure setup process using a QR code and one-time password to protect the device on the network.
Equally valuable on board cruising and performance powerboats, providing accurate depth measurements and linear-speed readings all the way up to 45 knots, the DST820 is compatible with Raymarine i50, i60, i70, and Alpha instrument systems, as well as Axiom and Axiom 2 chartplotters. It comes complete with a standard NMEA 2000 Device Net Micro-C connector and can be readily adapted for SeaTalk NG using an optional adapter cable.
