Raymarine releases new flagship high definition Axiom XL MFDs

Date: 03-Sep-2018

Raymarine’s new flagship Axiom XL multi-function displays (MFDs) are large, top-of-the-line high definition units ideal for use in glass bridges, enclosed helm stations, and open cockpits.

Available in 16, 19, 22 and 24‐inch display sizes, the Axiom XL MFDs are both rugged and waterproof and are specifically engineered to perform in even the most extreme conditions.

Axiom XL features full 1080p HD multi‐touch displays with IPS technology and blazingly fast quad core processors to deliver powerful all‐in‐one big screen navigation experiences. They are powered by Raymarine’s fast, fluid, and easy‐to‐learn LightHouse 3 operating system.

They can also view and control a remote personal computer using the computer’s HDMI output and USB touch screen control and there is integrated Wi‐Fi for mobile apps and Bluetooth for streaming audio and alarms to remote speakers.

The Axiom XL MFDs are also fishing-ready thanks to the optional RVX1000 remotely-mounted 3D CHIRP sonar module. With integral IP camera support and analog video input for visible light and FLIR thermal cameras, users can watch up to four video camera streams simultaneously.

With Raymarine’s trademark focus on making life easy for the user, the Axiom XL can be operated from its multi‐touch screen control or through the Raymarine RMK‐10 keypad. Its three Raynet Ethernet ports make it easy to connect radar, CHIRP sonar, cameras, and additional Axiom, Axiom Pro and Axiom XL family displays.

The new Axiom XL displays will be just as popular at rest as they are while underway. LightHouse Apps allows those on board to stream movies and music from Netflix and Spotify directly to the Axiom XL’s large full HD display.
