Better control for tiller-steered vessels
Ultraflex®’s new ZTF Tiller systems make it easier and more comfortable to drive tiller-steered boats powered by modern 4-stroke outboards.
Using a patented hydraulic valve, the new ZTF Tiller eliminates the high propeller torque felt at the tiller when the driver is not actively changing direction. The valve stops the high propeller torque, generated by modern 4-strokes, from reaching the tiller handle — unless the driver pushes or pulls on the end of the handle, at which point the valve opens and allows the boat to turn to port or starboard.
There are two options in the Ultraflex®’s ZTF Tiller systems range, for Mercury 150hp 4-stroke outboards from 2005 until now and for Yamaha 90-200hp 4-stroke outboards from 2008 until now.
