Raymarine’s new Element S ideal for cruisers & sailors
Raymarine’s new Element S is a series of bright, high-contrast and top-performing displays especially developed for cruisers and sailors.
With a superior all-weather display, best-in-class speed, easy operation and confidence-inspiring GPS navigation, Element S is the perfect, cost-effective MFD for those who don’t need a sophisticated sonar.
Available in 7-, 9-, and 12-inch display models, Element S boasts a powerful 64-bit quad-core processor to deliver unrivaled speed, smooth page and menu transitions and instantaneous chart redraws. Its fast and accurate built-in 10Hz GPS sensor supports charts from leading mapmakers, including Raymarine’s new LightHouse NC2 charts, Navionics and C-MAP.
Element S also quickly and easily interfaces with Raymarine’s Quantum wireless CHIRP radar or an AIS receiver to intelligently identify approaching targets and increase awareness and confidence when navigating congested waterways.
Powered by Raymarine’s LightHouse Sport operating system, Element S is incredibly easy to operate. Uncomplicated menus and intuitive keypad controls combine with live menus, enabling skippers to change settings or customise charts while seeing the navigation display change in real time. Three user-programmable quick keys provide instant access to favoured pages and an oversized waypoint button allows quick and easy marking of up to 5,000 waypoints in 200 different groups, plus 50 routes and 15 tracks.
Underwater hazards are identified with an integrated single-channel high CHIRP sonar, capable of crystal clear bottom tracking and fish-finding in up to 300-metres. Raymarine’s sophisticated built-in RealBathy contour generation means skippers can also map uncharted areas in real time.
Thanks to its NMEA 2000 connectivity, Element S models can quickly and simply integrate with both autopilot and VHF DSC while also displaying sailing instruments, engine data and fuel tank levels at the same time.
