The Module 70‑S is a high output (1,850 lumen), cost effective replacement for halogen lighting on your vessel, delivering higher efficiency, and longer lifetime in a compact package.

The Module 70-S uses efficient cooling fins and temperature controlled automatic dimming, to ensure maximum light output in any environment without overheating. The housings are a corrosion resistant, heat dissipating thermal polymer, with a high impact resistant plastic cover lens. Module 70‑S are suitable for upright or pendant mounting, via a robust Stainless Steel bracket.

The Module 70‑S is dust- and waterproof, protected against polarity reversal, and has approval for transport of hazardous goods. The ECE-approved lamps meet the highest EMC requirements. Like all Hella marine products, the Module 70 Gen 5 comes with a 5-year guarantee, providing long-term peace of mind.

The Module 70-S offers 2 lighting patterns for different applications:

Close Range: Ideal for illuminating nearby areas, such as working decks or to illuminate docks to facilitate loading. Fitting 2 lamps to cross beams is always a great idea to avoid shadows.

Long Range: This pattern narrows and extends the beam, delivering headlight-like performance for distance viewing; also very useful where the lights need to be mounted at height (Masts etc.), or a long distance away from the area to be lit (Power supply limitation).
